USDIDX: United State’s Core Durable Goods Orders report for July is the key event for forex markets due August 24. There is a possibility the durable goods orders report may indicate the orders didn’t decline as forecast which will be bullish for USDIDX.

EURUSD: German ifo Business Climate report is an important economic event in the August 22-26 week. The report is due on August 25 and will be used to gauge investors’ confidence in the prospects of euro-zone's biggest economy in light of negative impact of Russia’s war on Ukraine after German economic growth stalled in the second quarter. In case the business sentiment improvement is less than expected the EURUSD will get a bearish boost.
